Since the end of 2012, we have been working on the image of Deutsche Bahn's subsidiaries and autonomous units.

The mobility portal Qixxit is a Deutsche Bahn initiative which generates the right route for every journey. Our work on brand strategy consisted of name development and brand positioning, corporate design and the development of the claim »Einfach.Unterwegs.« ("Simply on the move".)

Together with the customer we established the tonality, design and visual language for the mobile platform. The service, which encompasses various means of transport, is available as a browser version or as an app.

We were particularly impressed by the great diligence with which wirDesign went about their business. Thanks to their well-founded strategic and creative work, a particularly distinctive design has emerged which illustrates Qixxit's aspiration to market leadership.

Brand relaunch
The original
makes a comeback, an affiliate of Deutsche Bahn, connects many German towns and cities to over 300 destinations in Germany and the rest of Europe by long-distance bus service. In 2013, updated its brand presence.  Starting with the logo, we redeveloped design principles and a colour scheme for various media. To allow for smooth implementation we provided partner agencies with templates and guidelines as well as setting up a help-desk to deal with design queries and new requirements.
