Image communication in a new format
A digital magazine for Continental

 

We have given Continental AG's image communication a new format, transforming its printed corporate image brochure into a digital magazine available as an app. The magazine was launched in time for the opening of the 2016 International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles (IAA) in Hannover. Working in close cooperation with the company's brand communication division, we were responsible for the concept, text and realisation of the magazine app.

The free magazine provides compact information on current developments and new trends in a multimedia format: from interviews to podcasts and films as well as background information on future mobility. The Continental magazine is, for the time being, published on a half-yearly basis and is now available in the Apple App Store Apple App Store  or in the Google Play Store for tablet computers..

 

Following the successful launch of the digital magazine, our long-term collaboration with Continental is set to continue on the second issue this year. The next steps include the international roll out of the magazine with local adjustments in terms of content as well as further communication measures.

Brand architecture and corporate design
Branding for a mobile future

 

As part of our work on brand architecture and corporate design projects, we updated Continental's corporate key visual. The previously rather abstract image of an »innovative stream« has been rendered much more tangible and dynamic, embedded in natural surroundings – the constant flow of data shaping the route the vehicle takes and connecting the driver with mobility, urbanity and the region.

Print companion copies

 

For the start of the IAA we developed further communication measures: a printed image brochure, providing 12 pages of compact information on the company and a foretaste of the magazine. The brochure is available in German and English. Full-page adverts in the industry newspaper »Automobilwoche« invited readers to visit the Continental exhibition stand and served as teasers for the digital magazine.
